This store had more formal clothes than your average t-shirt and shorts shop. They had beautiful linen dresses and shirts for your little ones. Oh, I think they had really cool looking shoes too. (I love shoes…) Their sales person told me they have adult version of their store across the street. It’s called “Aura” After all the shopping for your baby-sprout/kid, maybe you can head over there and get something for yourself.

Oh! I really liked this store. This store seems to be able to pack a lot of things in without looking cluttered. They had the stroller, Stokke Xplory Basic – Cream I want, nursery items, baby gear, clothes for me (who currently is carrying our bean), clothes for the baby-beans and even clothes and toys that I can buy as a gift to my kid nephew. This is the place I am going to get our bean’s first halloween costume.

You probably don’t need me to tell you what they sell. This store is the kid’s store of the popular Lucky Jeans Store.

Their clothes remind me of Scotland. Not sure why. I just feel like little boys and girls in Scotland would wear clothes like theirs. They are a brand of Gymboree clothes. If you are in a lazy mood they have an online store where they will even ship internationally.

This store has children’s books and original paintings from children’s books. They had some paintings that I would love to have for our bean’s nursery. The paintings ranged in topic from animals (cute elephants and giraffes). They also had pictures that looked like they were straight our of the Lord of the Rings or World of Warcraft. Overall they had some really cool stuff.

Miel is a little boutique that had the cutest overcoat for girls. Their selection wasn’t huge, but from what I saw all their clothes looked beautifully tailored for your little ones.

You can go have a blast with your little ones here. When you go you get to choose items that you want to color or personalize, and you get supplies to create a unique work of art. They also can host parties for birthdays.

I remember reading an article somewhere, where a person threw a party and had everyone who attended them paint a tile and used those tiles to tile their children’s bathroom. I think it’s a great idea.

They had some vintage inspired clothes your picky children might like. Their clothes are comfortable yet reflect the personality of the kid who is wearing them. This brand is designed and run by Tina Canales, Amy Williams, and Scott Williams who are also parents.

This last weekend we decided to do some exploring for places to buy cool and useful stuff for our bean. Our destination was Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. The shopping area is about 10 blocks so its not too great of a walk but well worth doing it on foot. Lots of cute coffee houses and quite a good choice of kid related products. We started in the middle and walked one side then the other. I’ll go through what we found.

Color me mine: This is a great place to get some creativity out of your sprout and kid. They have a ton of pottery that kids can paint to the fullest extent of their imagination.
