Little Dolphins by the Sea may be the coolest preschool ever. My wife and i went on a walk today and stumbled on this place. They started as a co-op 17 years ago in a back yard in the Palisades and now they are in Santa Monica in a huge facility. Their website shows some of the things they do with kids and its awesome, very creative, and hands on, cooking and painting etc… awesome stuff. I will say this after looking at their prices i was a bit shocked, they are truly expensive…..

Safe Medications During Pregnancy

Once you get pregnant, the medication that you are use to using without any thought is now OFF LIMITS… Here is a list of medications that are deemed safe during pregnancy. I got this list from the doctor’s office. By the way….

This list is NOT intended to replace the advice of your physician. You should seek the advice of your physician prior to taking any medication while you are pregnant or nursing. Some medical conditions require evaluation by your physician prior to being treated. So, DON’T forget to check with your physician before taking any of these!!!!!!!!

Tylenol for fever, aches, pains

Sudafed for Nasal congestion

Actifed for nasel congestion

Robitussin-DM for cough

Throat Lozenges for sore throat

Ocean nasal spray for nasal congestion

Mylanta for heartburn

Maalox for heartburn

Tums for heartburn

Rolaids for heartburn

Metamucil for constipation

Milk of Magnesia for constipation

colace for constipation

Preparation H for hemorrhoids

Anusol HD or plain for hemorrhoids

Kaopectate for diarrhea

Monistat for yeast infection

RID shampoo for lice

Perns/highlights after 12 weeks

Novacaine injections for dental work or minor surgery

I’ve been poking around on the net trying to prepare my self for the bean thats coming our way. My focus is on education. As a child i hated school. In my later years it seemed i couldn’t get away from it… I think it was the realization that it was a choice between real world work or fantasy land school and being the creative sort i chose the later. My goal now is to provide a solid foundation for my bean to get going early and learn as much as possible. I want to stay local but i want to find some quality programs. This post will probably grow with time but I’ll try to post as much as I find as I go along. For now I’ll start with local pre-school programs.
