Once you get pregnant, the medication that you are use to using without any thought is now OFF LIMITS… Here is a list of medications that are deemed safe during pregnancy. I got this list from the doctor’s office. By the way….

This list is NOT intended to replace the advice of your physician. You should seek the advice of your physician prior to taking any medication while you are pregnant or nursing. Some medical conditions require evaluation by your physician prior to being treated. So, DON’T forget to check with your physician before taking any of these!!!!!!!!

Tylenol for fever, aches, pains

Sudafed for Nasal congestion

Actifed for nasel congestion

Robitussin-DM for cough

Throat Lozenges for sore throat

Ocean nasal spray for nasal congestion

Mylanta for heartburn

Maalox for heartburn

Tums for heartburn

Rolaids for heartburn

Metamucil for constipation

Milk of Magnesia for constipation

colace for constipation

Preparation H for hemorrhoids

Anusol HD or plain for hemorrhoids

Kaopectate for diarrhea

Monistat for yeast infection

RID shampoo for lice

Perns/highlights after 12 weeks

Novacaine injections for dental work or minor surgery

Allergy shots for allergies

Mantoux TB test for TB screening test
